The Trull d'en Francesc restaurant is in Boadella d'Empordà village, about 15 Kms. to N. of Figueres. You can arrive through the regional road that leaves the N-II of Figueres to La Jonquera, at the height of Pont of Molins reaches Boadella. Also by the road from N-II pass by Biure, another option, longer, is leaving Figueres to continue towards Llers, Terrades, Santuary of the Health and Boadella. Boadella is in the valley of the river Muga that crosses the municipality from N. to S.E. And, the relief is so accidented by the first cliffs of Oriental Pyrenees, the flatest places are beside the river that enters in contact with the ampurdanesa flat in Pont of Molins.The landscape is mediterranean, with forests of pines, oaks, cork oaks, cultivations of olive trees, some vineyard, fields of cereals and vegetable gardens near the river. There are gallery forests with riverside trees near Muga. As backdrop we find the calcareous cliffs of Santa Magdalena's mountain and further on Salinas' mountains and Canigó.The restaurant is inside the town, beside the river.
