Trying to meet the preferences of restless people, who like to try different wines, as well as people who have classic tastes.
We have a open terrace in summer in from of the Muga river, full of ducks and geese, and a totally rustic decoration, with a fireplace for winter.

In 1990, the married couple formed by Francisco Xambó and Josi Salguero together with their son Francisco Jr, opened the restaurant El Trull de Francesc with great enthusiasm, after restoring an old oil mill from the 17th century. The stone walls of the original oil mill, the base and the grinding wheel for grinding the olives from the 19th century were preserved. The 1870 press, which is in the main dining room, was also restored. In front of the restaurant, a terrace was set up that forms a viewpoint over the Muga and the Cordón lock. Over time the kitchen and the restaurant premises have been expanded in order to offer a better service.
Francesc's El Trull restaurant can boast of being located in a truly enviable setting, to the right of the NII between Figueres and La Jonquera, in a town of 150 inhabitants Boadella d'Empordà. Its landscapes invite you to go for a walk, go by bicycle or observe its charm.
